I can't believe that Carrie Fisher has now been gone for eight years. I have this incredibly vivid memory of going to a memorial panel for her at WonderCon 2017, and when I started crying a man in the seat next to me held out a tissue box.

So I made the mistake of googling how sex works in the Cars universe and stumbled upon this:
