In her new role as a "surrogate mother" this Diana actually reminded me a bit of Circe's role in Absolute, where their ways to make their daughters see the world is cruel, even if they can't see it yet.

Wonder Woman is my favorite DC character and many Alternate Universes make her evil because it's easy. But they never explore what a truly corrupted version of Diana could be like, they simply default to generic warrior clichés.
