That headline is a BAD misquote. Carney did not use the words "reliable" or "ally" in response to reporters questions about a trade deal with China. He refers only to China being "more predictable" than the US.

All hinges on the right, but in Spain there are two distinct currents: the classic PP, pro‑NATO, pro‑European right, and a more populist faction (VOX) that resembles the style of leaders such as Orbán. I’m concerned that the stupid VOX might gain a foothold in the next government (perhaps in 2027)
