Might as well hire Coach O

They assume everyone is as corrupt as they are. The idea of working for general societal benefit is a foreign concept.

Many probably just see it as a cost of doing business that they can itemize away and prefer it to regulations that they see as limiting profit.
December 8, 2025 at 6:10 PM
With any decent teams? Yes. ND and UConn can play with themselves I guess.
December 8, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Sure. Have fun playing G5 teams and service academies.
December 8, 2025 at 4:56 PM
Who is ND going to play if they can't get the ACC games? Most programs are going to start shying away from difficult OOC games as Texas has been saying.
December 8, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Or RBs in the passing game. Their LBs are so bad it's comical.
December 7, 2025 at 8:52 PM
FBS is going to have to split at some point. The gap between the best P4 teams and G5 teams is growing, partly bc they subsumed the better G5 programs into the larger conferences already.
December 7, 2025 at 5:48 PM
An even worse decision somehow
December 7, 2025 at 5:32 PM
Hard to know if they would rather protect Bama or the conference championship games in that scenario.
December 7, 2025 at 5:06 PM
It's what being a college football fan is all about
December 7, 2025 at 5:04 PM
Especially since GaTech gave a strong datapoint for the ACC against Georgia last week compared to Alabama this week.

Was sympathetic that their resume is better but can't put up this poor of a performance and get me to care. Seems easy enough for the committee to take the layup and put both Miami and ND in the field.
December 7, 2025 at 12:09 AM
Completely disagree. I'd rather see teams that can win against other elite teams. Not ones that have a cake schedule and then lose to the only good teams they play (e.g. ND).
December 6, 2025 at 9:57 PM
Should just make it that if ND finishes ahead of the ACC champ, they take their auto bid. And if neither likes it, then they can stop faking being a member of the conference.
December 6, 2025 at 8:51 PM
ND's schedule is complete garbage and they lost to the two best teams they played. They have no real argument.
December 6, 2025 at 8:51 PM
It's depressing that the US has a culture that rewards these kind of guys. And seems to be going even harder in that direction in the social media age.
December 6, 2025 at 8:46 PM
There's a reason no one has taken BYU seriously all year.
December 6, 2025 at 7:32 PM
Monopolies and corporate-owned governments are not conducive to democracy nor beneficial to the populace. We learned that more than a century ago.
December 5, 2025 at 1:05 PM
They should have been harsher and forced more splits. And should do that when they get into power again.
December 5, 2025 at 12:58 PM
Dems lose because they listen to people like you.
December 3, 2025 at 2:01 AM
This is your best argument?
December 3, 2025 at 12:36 AM
ND was losing late in the 3rd quarter
December 3, 2025 at 12:36 AM
Miami also blew out Pitt and you might want to check that ND-USC score again.
December 3, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Miami has the better resume regardless. I have no idea what ND offers except good losses.
