I've gone outside and apparently Leicester Square is all German Christmas Market right now.

I'll be at MCM Birmingham in TWO WEEKS and I've randomly decided that I do badges now, and will have them with me for the first time ever (as well as books, obvs).

Tables laid out so closely together that there is barely any room for a wheelchair user to visit them. Boxes on floor in foreground for scale. Space behind a single table, with my legs for scale, showing the table to be AT MOST two feet from the wall. No space to sit at a chair in and certainly no space for a wheelchair. In addition, so many events don't understand (or care) that blank walls and empty spaces subconsciously signal to guests that there's nothing there.

This was my view all weekend at MCMxEGX:
Columns of cardboard, staggered so as to read the word "ensemble" when viewed from one specific direction. This created a void nobody wanted to enter or even pass by.
