I remember seeing him perform in Sigmund Stern Grove like 40 years ago. What struck me was the variety of people in the crowd, just enjoying the music.

Just been to the store. Eggs are now about a buck an egg. Used to be a cheap source of good protein. I found some on markdown for $4.59/doz, so I bought two. I might go back and buy 2 more as I can freeze them for later. Basically meat is now cheaper than eggs.

I work in a mental health facility. A good number of our clients are on Medicaid. Not only would they not be able to pay for their services, but having those services not be paid would lead to the demise of the facility. People would be left without mental health care and others without jobs.

I'll be there in August. I know I'll be among friends. Also in the UK, where one of my favourite bands sing "D__ T__ is a cockwomble!" and we all sing along...
