And I'll still never understand why they used an alternate George vocal and alternate guitar fills in Free as a Bird, as well as undoing the reversed quip from John at the end (which Apple actually did in the 2015 remix but kept in the new version).

I wasn't a huge fan of the new remix of Free as a Bird when I heard it, and I'm even less of a fan of the new remix of Real Love. While it's nice they were able to clean up John's vocal, it seems they were SO proud of their work they made John's vocal louder than Paul and George's and it's jarring.

My secret favorite part of that album is where Jack Nicholson took the clip of Zappa telling Davy Jones "That song was pretty white" and followed it with when Mike Nesmith says "And I'll tell you something else too: the same thing goes for *Christmas*!"
