Why is "philosophical level" (whatever tf is) relevant to discussion about legal definition of citizenship, and how national IDs are completely okay?

Like you idiots need to pull your heads out of your special american asses, and realize that you've been using social sec numbers for that already.
April 27, 2025 at 5:33 PM
How is a fucking poem relevant to concept of legal citizenship?
April 27, 2025 at 5:28 PM
Right. You ARE dumb.

Do you genuinely not know what "Proving a negative" means, and why you generally shouldn't ask that?

Come back after you read up on that. You can still delete that silly, silly comment.
April 27, 2025 at 5:24 PM
Bruh you already have legal concept of citizenship. This is literally an extension of that.
April 27, 2025 at 4:39 PM
Are you seriously, *seriously* asking me to prove a negative?

Are you like dumb or what?
April 27, 2025 at 4:38 PM
This might be a really tough pill to swallow, but here goes:

"Not every law has to be authorized by or required by the constitution. It just needs to be not contrary to it."

There. I hope it didn't hurt.
April 27, 2025 at 9:38 AM
WTF is this slippery slope bullshit?

99% of countries have national ids. How many of them have "Colored symbols on their sleeves"?
April 27, 2025 at 9:36 AM
100% of communist regimes so far have been the oppressors. I'm not joining that.

You will probably claim that that automatically makes me a fascist. Leftists never did well with nuance, and this helps you dismiss my positions outright as onthologically evil. It's easier than actually understanding.
April 6, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Bro who blocked me literally is. Claiming that capitalism is 300,000 years old? Wtf?

And then claiming "human nature is caring for he disabled"... As if we literally didn't do that in capitalism? Europe is doing pretty okay in that regard. Better than under communism, mind you.
April 6, 2025 at 3:47 PM
Also who tf is Bill O'Reilly? Never heard of him.
April 6, 2025 at 3:36 PM
This is extremely ahistoric take. "Capitalism" as we know it is only like 300 years old.

Literally pick up a book that's written by an actual historian, not by a communist firebrand. It's actually freeing, not trying to shoehorn medieval subsistence farming and modern SocDem into the same hole.
April 6, 2025 at 3:23 PM
Well, you should pick up a history book. They'll tell you how communism always goes.

Spoiler: it's purges, repression, and then either collapse or transition to shittier capitalism. All the while your ideal Marx described society remains as realistic as Fountainhead.
April 6, 2025 at 3:19 PM
Where do you think "the centre" is? What is "the centre"?

Because if you reasonably assume "Centre is the median political position", liberals are indeed to the left of it.
April 6, 2025 at 7:56 AM
American leftists *think* they want communism, while they really want worker and consumer protections. About 95% of what you're complaining about is solved by SocDem in Europe.

No need to reopen gulags, bro. Just get universal healthcare and 5 weeks of vacation.
April 6, 2025 at 7:54 AM
I'm not saying that people are inherently greedy. I'm saying that a significant percentage is at least somewhat greedy. That's not a controversial statement, is it?

And greediness just can't exist in a communist society. So you kill them or repress them. Like commies always do.
April 6, 2025 at 7:52 AM
> "Liberalism is the ideology of capitalism"

...umm... no? Where tf did you get that from?

If you make clear you're talking about economic liberalism then sure, but if you contrast it with Conservatism, like OP did, it obviously means "Individual freedoms and equality" - and not capitalism.
April 5, 2025 at 4:42 PM
Liberalism and conservatism come from what people are like. Liberalism comes from hope, conservatism from fear.

On the other hand, socialism/communism/libertarianism come from fundamental misunderstanding of human nature, and therefore can't work.
April 5, 2025 at 3:57 PM
Conservative is the opposite of liberal, what are you on about?
April 5, 2025 at 3:54 PM
On one hand, russia having problems with energy is good news. On the other hand, shutting down crypto operations is a good move wherever it is done (cryptocurrencies are a drag on society) and I don't like russians making the occasional good move.
March 31, 2025 at 10:24 AM
This is like a 100-200 people. Is this what protests look like in USA?
March 30, 2025 at 2:30 PM
170mm? That's pretty exotic. Does any other system use that?
March 19, 2025 at 3:52 PM
J'aime pas trop le pape et l'église catolique. Mais en tant que Slovaque, rancontrent notre premiére ministre et mourir ensuite est une geste que je peux respecter.
February 24, 2025 at 7:05 PM
Sorry to say, but Babiš will win. And it won't be close. It's also not about russia. The current ruling party, ODS, is corrupt through to core and their messaging to people who are straddled with stagnant economy and unaffordable living is "But it's fine". Weird how that doesn't resonate with voters
February 24, 2025 at 8:19 AM
What is it with people citing genocide deniers now?
February 22, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Chomsky is a genocide denier. Fuck him.
