Jay Rodriguez scored his first goal for the Reds as they beat Stockport County. It was a hard and physical game with fierce tackles. Wrexham AFC won the game by one goal to nil. From the first kick the atmosphere was fiery and the play was explosive. The Stockport goalkeeper saved Rodriguez's kick from the spot but he scored from the rebound to put the Reds ahead. It was a competitive second half with a number of yellow cards for both teams. Stockport went down to ten men and the Reds managed to stand firm to secure the three points.

The new Kop Stand at the STōK Cae Ras secured another key milestone today when Wrexham County Borough Council’s Planning Committee voted to approve the Club’s new designs.
