I just wanna go back, back to 1999. BUY A HOUSE in my old neighborhood.
I watched a video in which a man (probably single) asked about women: what are you trying to accomplish on this earth by being single? It wasn't a positive video, by the way.

Probably every woman who saw that video is gonna try to avoid him. That will be an accomplishment.

I watched a video in which the person said if you're not photogenic, it's because you have high spiritual energy and it can't be captured with a camera.

I don't know if that's true or if he was just trying to make us non photogenic people feel better, but it works for me! 😜

I hate when people U-turn at an intersection where the left green arrow traffic light doesn't stay green long.

Hopefully, I didn't turn on a red light (technically went on yellow) because of the car in front of me today! I guess I'll find out, if I receive a fine. 😐

I bought Linkin Park's Lost Demos vinyl (finally). It had been out of stock for a while, so I didn't think I'd ever get to buy it. I also didn't know when or if it would be restocked.

So, when it was available, I jumped at the chance! 😆 It might be sold out again! 😆

I saw a comment that said, "I never understood the 'I'm here to work, not make friends' mentality."

It's not a difficult concept. You go to work to work & get paid. If you make friends in the process, that's fine.

Guys, which US states, at the moment of me posting this, has gas that's $1.99/gallon? I pumped gas yesterday and it was $3.79/gallon.

At least it went down compared to last month when it was $4.19/gallon.

I was listening to "Everything" by B2K and the part where they said, "Oh no, I left my two-way at home, still sitting on the charger" made me wonder if they had anyone to remove it from the charger for them. 🤨😱

Some retailers are starting to charge a return fee.

With the prices they're charging, you're better off trying to sell the item to someone else.

As I drove into the parking lot at work today, I saw a little kitten eating some food on the ground (someone's trash). Poor baby. It was probably cold too. 😢 It ran away somewhere as I pulled up, so I don't know what happened to it.

Hmm... I've been seeing videos about parents complaining that people won't switch seats with them so that they can sit with their kids.

Someone needs to create a family specific airline... As in, you'd have to be a parent (or grandparent) to be able to fly on that airline.

And... Here's today's group of books:

- Navigating Anxiety & Depression by Scientific American
- Originals by Adam Grant
- Wisdom of the Dying by Hamza Abbasi, MD

I came across a post that said something like, "Stop giving way too much energy to something that deserves less."

I definitely need to stop doing that!

Oh, you thought I was done with books? Not quite! 😆 In this round:

- The Negative Effects of Comparison by Diane Paige Collins
- The Best Secrets of Great Small Businesses by Ray Silverstein
- The Patient Survival Guide by Dr. Maryanne McGuckin with Toni L. Goldfarb

I ordered the 8 piece family meal from Popeyes for delivery. It's my usual order there.

I received everything, but the correct type of chicken. I received 6 chicken tenders.

This family meal is supposed to be a combo of breast, wings, and drumettes, not tenders. 😭

No wonder the bag was small. 😒

"Your current job shouldn't stop you from going after your dream job."

I don't have a dream job. I never did. Even as a teenager, I often worried about how my adult self would support myself and what kind of job I would have.

Now, as an adult, I still worry about that, despite having a job. 😌

I always seem to forget that whenever Dutch Bros does an item drop, you're only given the item if you order a medium or large drink. 😝

I saw a video in which a mother said (somewhat bitterly) that child free people are pretty much on vacation 24/7.

Having no kids doesn't equate to being on vacay all the time. Some work too many hours (as in, 60-100 hours). Some have fur babies. Some have parents or other family they take care of.

I just got an email from work saying I don't qualify for their medical insurance.

Um, yeah... I never did because I don't work enough hours.

I'm also annoyed that they have to keep reminding me every year that I don't qualify. 😆

I saw a post that said something like, "A title may make you a boss, but your people will decide if you're a leader."

Ooooooh... So true, so true. 👏👏

So, how many people do you have to follow on Instagram before Instagram stops suggesting people for you to follow? 🤨
December 9, 2025 at 7:00 PM
So, I like reading books and watching TV, but I would definitely read more books if I watched less TV. 😆

I fall behind on reading simply because I've purchased the books, so they are mine. 🤓

The TV shows, however, are on borrowed time. It's a race against time for deletion. 😌

I read a post that detailed signs that it's time to leave your job.

One of them was "you dread going to work."

I think we all dread going to work, even if we like our jobs.

The hour I waste being stuck in traffic while commuting to work is an hour I could be using to gain more rest. 😝
