in cheese sisters, i thought their story was one of the weakest out of the four and they seemed a bit uncomfortable playing a couple. obviously the two had chemistry in bnk which is why they were shipped together but they’re grouped together with loveteams who are known for their love scenes

the pilot did an amazing job of giving us context of lada/earn’s relationship and their ultimate downfall and setting up the conflict and the antagonist.

the secret of us:

chef’s kisses. this is my favorite one. it has great chemistry, tight and concise storyline, perfect pacing, and fleshed out characters.

i think it benefitted from only having 8 episodes so the writers were able to tell a more concentrated story.

i like how they didn’t drag on the secret instagram plot line.

okay, i didn’t actually finish this one. it was fine. i like milklove. i think i was just too old to appreciate this series. i’m so far removed from teenage-hood. it very corny and exaggerated in an endearing way but it just wasn’t for me.

stands up to her grandmother was great only for it to be completely reversed at the start of the very next episode. we don’t get a chance to sit in sam’s victory before it’s ripped away again.

concerning the plot, i think the series was poorly paced. it’s been a minute since i’ve seen it but i do remember the show having too many faux-breakup scenes only for them to get back together again in the very next scene. there’s a conventional story structure for a reason. the climax, when sam—

gap: obviously with this being the first thai gl series, everyone had their eyes on it and many have good things to say about it. i didn’t hate it but i did think it was just okay. freenbecky are great but they shine a lot more to me in the loyal pin than in this series. ——

—hodgepodge of different plots. jessie doesn’t even appear again until the second to last episode. i thought she was supposed to be the main antagonist….

with 12 episodes, it was exhausting getting through the whole thing.
