Brought our rescue pup home yesterday! She's a little 20lb doxie mix. Her shelter name was Raven and we ultimately decided to keep it. She'd just been spayed, but last night got a break from the cone, and so far so good today. I'm hopeful she'll decompress and adjust to the new routine quickly. 😭

A super rough sketch that's supposed to be rogue doing a hair toss with maybe Logan looking up at her, and an even more roughly blocked out Remy on the other side. Starting to refine lineart for Rogue to see if the piece is vibing. Detail mainly on her face and hair with a bit of her collar and me trying to remember how boobs work.

Uncanny Experience Day Two! Made friends at breakfast and got my face painted to start. Later got my butt kicked by Wolverine(s) who made me do squats on vacation 😤 in the heat, felt VERY TINY next to Tyler Mane after he signed my Sabertooth art, and after everything wrapped I found this guy! ❤️💛
Me on day two in the very nice lighting of the stairwell, sideburns makeup'd on and dressing comfy in an X-men tank with gloves and claws (and Logan sweats that you cannot see). I got some fun airbrushed silver and some bloody slash marks on my face. The official Logan cosplayer giving Laura some suggestions as she taught the P.E. class on the lawn. Look, I like working out, but squats on vacation in THAT HEAT the day after dancing for several hours was RUDE. (I'd do it again in a heartbeat.) Me with Tyler Mane, where being a bit over 5'1" means his waist is like... higher than my elbow. Also, why do I always do this thing in photos where I'm on tiptoes on one foot, am I trying to be taller? Ran across the street after the big group photo out front of the venue to get a photo with this guy for obvious reasons. Me with a literal Deadpool & Wolverine cosplayer. His outfit is split down the middle with Deadpool on one side and Wolverine on the other, and the insignia on his belt is a DPW heart.

Had a blast in a 90s Poolverine outfit and got dipped by Herc before the doors even opened, so I started off the weekend right. Also the afterparty was hella fun. 💕

Neighborhood kids set up an art sale stand in their driveway on the route we take our little walks along. J and I bought these notebooks from them. We got to pet their dog as a bonus.
