i suspect neonicotinoids such as: acetamiprid, clothianidin/thiamethoxam, dinotefuran and imidacloprid. Those are the terms you need to look for on the label; all are neonicotinoids. Every personal, commercial or industry support of organic grown crops and horticulture helps.

This product works great! Its a dauber that dries clear (to us) to protect wild birds from window crashing. Reapply every 4 mo or test if faded with a uv flashlight. www.WindowAlert.com

could she may be old an infertile or young but poorly mated?; either way she would be looking for wider cells to lay drones. if you have worker brood below then you likely have a daughter queen there.

pretty sure the quivering ones are a pesticide kill. Old bees have super tattered wings; those dying ones don’t look old.

usually won’t cross a honey filled box but will skip a box if comb or foundation she doesn’t like (disease, cell size, unwaxed foundation) or beek accidentally moved her up or u have two queens ( daughter )

what works for me are learning from beekeepers who always have too many bees 🤩, apiaries far from likely neonicotinoid treated crops

keeping varroa mite level at 0-3 mites/300 bees using good genetics, mechanical methods and organic acids.
Pesticides | What are Neonicotinoids?
Neonicotinoids are potent insecticides that threaten pollinators as well as aquatic organisms, birds, and mammals, including humans.

are most cranky when barometer dropping, late season when no more nectar available, if wearing dark colors (bear) or red (they see it as black). happy communing w nature 😌

entomology dpt/bee lab would be intrstd in ur colony. most get wiped out by viruses from varroa mites. some though are varroa resistant or at least hygenically remove their mites. beeks want those genes in their queens, $$. if you leave brood frames they will make a new queen. 1/2 leave when swarm.

if waxy: could be old/aged honey bee comb from a swarm. sometimes while waiting to find a cavity they make comb where they are. unconventional cells could be burr comb (filler) they made between two branches or in cracks which now has broken away.
