I agree it was too much of the cheap heat. As his promo with fragile Phil proved he can be much better than this.

In the end, MJF retires a worn-out Joe, turning on his teammates in the process. Swerve blames Hangman for talking him into this partnership, and everything gets even more heated than before.
December 19, 2025 at 7:49 PM
My fantasy booking is Joe retaining the title via heel finish and MJF teaming up with Swerve and Hangman. The odd couple very reluctantly turns into an even odder trio, even winning the trios title. Swerve and Hangman unsuccessfully challenge Joe, always to be "accidentally" sabotaged by MJF.

I know this will get me in hot water, but I think MJF did his best work when he wasn't "the MJF." His face turn with Adam Cole was amazing. And it would feel rushed if they would put the belt on him at his first match after returning.

Same here. I'm watching Dynamite Christmas Bash, desperately trying to keep pace with AEW's tight schedule. But I don't want to complain. As Mae West said: "To much of a good thing is wonderful."

Same here. And either the vitriol has become significantly less, or I finally managed to block most of the E-drones.

I used to like them. It's a shame they missed the point when they could have left with honor and dignity. Still not as bad as Flair, but they are getting pretty close. And that's what makes me sad and mad.

Here in Germany, Hardy-Matches would be illegal cause they technically count as "desecration of a corpse." This is a felony and punishable with up to three years in prison.

As much as I love those guys, you're absolutely right.

I made the mac n cheese version of AEW where I used Italian cheeses and all my co-workers loved it except for one who said that it was too good and it needed to be more like Kraft. Bland content has been these people’s homeostasis for years and any good wrestling increases their anxiety.

The copy feds are at it again. They saw how well Sting's retirement run with AEW was received and wanted one for themselves.

If you consider how many wrestlers return from retirement, AEW and WWE are rather some kind of pet's cemetery.
