The metaphor I use is that TROS merely pissed on the smoldering embers of the house TFA torched

Fair, but I disagree: TFA had the chance to be a proper sequel but went for a cowardly soft reboot: new rebellion, new empire, Jedi are gone again, Sith are back, Han’s a smuggler, new desert world orphan and cute droid, etc…
