Although I fear it was a futile attempt, I contacted the two Florida US Senators and asked them to stand up for the Country, stand up for the Department of Defence and to stand up for veterans; and NOT to vote to confirm Pete Hegseth. Hegseth is not qualified to run our Country’s Defence Department.

Trump has named Charles Kushner, father of Jared Kushner, as ambassador to France. The elder Kushner once pleaded guilty to tax evasion and making illegal campaign contributions. Trump pardoned him in 2020.
