Today was Chuck's 14th birthday, so my daughter & I took him down the beach to watch the Aurora Australis to celebrate! I then concocted a story that the Southern Lights were a sign from Coco (Chuck's departed twin brother) telling us that dog heaven was beautiful. 😊😇

At the start of WWII, my grandma left Scotland to serve as a radar operator in Maidstone, Kent. She was widowed at 21 when her husband, Lesley's plane, was shot down over Germany.She met my grandad at a 'dance' at the camp where she was stationed.They married in uniform on Nov 6th,1945 #LestWeForget

My metabolism has slowed down almost to a 'halt' & along with upping my migraine meds which increases weight gain, I've had to be v careful what I eat.So, I've had to find healthy 'treats'...kale, mango, strawberry, blueberry, banana, protein powder, Greek & coconut yoghurt smoothie.You're welcome!😁
