I never considered that I live in a simulation until 2016. And 2024 really didn't help alleviate that feeling. Other than that, life has been fairly good to me, even in the struggles. But, things could be much better if we could rewrite some NPC's...

I don't understand why people don't look before opening the door. Just peek, and go back to napping. There used to be a time I would open the door for government officials, but that time is gone.

You apparently never read what I wrote, or just added your own biases. My original reply was to go after the people that hire the illegal immigrants. There was nothing else. This would negate the huge wave of illegal immigrants that can't get a job. Hence the only path is legal means.

You are projecting others views on me. Please stop. I was only pointing out that the current expansion of ICE is a stupid expensive way to stop illegal immigration. I am not choosing sides on immigration. That is a different topic altogether. One I haven't studied enough to advocate either way.

All well and good, but that wouldn't work. Where as my method makes it so there is no need to snatch innocent people, because the majority wouldn't come here if there are no jobs for undocumented. The others would be edge cases that normal authoritarian agencies can handle without the extra load.

What a waste of money. Same thing could be accomplished by by going after the people that hire them illegally. You know, the people that exploit them, the rich, farmers...Republicans. And the best part of doing it that way, is we could make a law were we confiscate their business and their assets.

Ukraine would be best advised not to take any deal brokered by the US. The US already signed the Budapest Memorandum in 1994, and failed to live up to it. With DF orange man at the helm, who has an incredible history of fucking over everyone in any sort of deal, it seems pointless.

I see the other post now. Totally agree there should be serious consequences for revenge porn. However, there is no stopping this tech. It will be catastrophic for most jobs. And possibly money. Which would at least be somewhat ironic that greed ends up crushing the rich (along with everyone else).

"Governments"? These "decisions" should be driven by a Customer-Centric Market. The real problem here is that this technology was artificially suppressed by the auto and oil industries, and "Government" didn't do shit about that. And it took Tesla to disrupt the whole insane petroleum paradigm.

last year, 2024 under Biden, was 2.2M, from what I can find. Under Trump so far? All i can find for 2025 is it will probably be around 200k. Yeah, not so great...

Most US citizens don't do any research on candidates. And if they watch "news", its usually targeted for left or right views. It's sad that it is on both sides, but its worse on the right. That is the side of the bell curve that is lower than average for IQ and/or empathy.
