The image is motion-blurred due to the speed of the action. Panel 2: Amy is dangling from the same limb, now held in front of Kolossos (depicted with my personal interpretation design) as it looks at her with narrowed 'eyes', growling quietly in contemplation. Amy looks terrified. Panel 3: Amy's expression now turns to baffled and confused with multiple cartoonish question marks surrounding her as Kolossos raises its arm, and reveals that it is holding her hammer. It offers it back to her with a strange, rumbling noise ("wrrowwr.") that is noted by the artist to translate into "YOU LOST THIS, MISS." and he smiles, 'eyes' squinting from the expression. His good ear flicked the other way, and his delight is further expressed with cartoonish sparkles surrounding his face.
