As a resident of Oslo, my go-to FKK beach is the one at Huk on the Bygdøy peninsula a short busride from the city center. I like how even though it's sometimes buzzing with people, I still find myself relaxing at the singing of the waves, and the wind brushing over my skin. I feel at peace there.

Living in Oslo, and having a job makes naturist hikes a challenge. These are from summer last year where
I absolutely lucked out with the weather and meeting noone. I even braved a video!

Scandinavian naturism has limits. Winter temps are one. Suburban nude hiking opportunities another one. Prudes and ambiguous legislation a third. Yet there's always a way. Today I hiked my usual forest road, clothed the first and last 10 mins, and 30 mins of naked brisk walking in -5℃. I met no one.

The strangest thing happened today. A nature reserve closed off during the summer for nesting, presented itself as a given destination, since the last time I tried to reach it, it blew so much I was padling in place. Did you know there are fields of chives some places?

I regret nothing. And yet I'll regret kayaking for well 4 hours today, as the first trip with kayak this year. Ending up at Langøyene, where the boats don't go yet, I got to dip in and bare it all.

The 1st of May gave a chance for a hike in the buff. After driving for a while, and being tagged bit by a small family, I could shed my clothes. I learned the hard way it's wiser to follow paths. By stupid luck, I met none on the trail (once I got back on one), and I only dressed at the trail head.

Today's the second one so far where I've been able to shed the layers of worries about relationships and work, and clothing. Hukodden naturist beach keeps it's promise of a peaceful humm of sloshing waves at the shoreline, the smell of sea kelp and salt, and the occational bird trill.

Naturism in Norway is dependent on weather, temperature and created opportunity. Yesterday I hiked in the nice weather, to Grefsenkollen. It can be a steep hike up, so most opt to the established path. I didn't, and found a spot out of sight to enjoy my tea. Next time I'll get better pictures :p
