Went to the California Botanic Gardens evening event tonight. Totally blown away by the opportunity to get up close with an owl, pet wolves (plural!), and see a variety of snakes and other reptiles. Wonderful night with friends!

Was so pleased to learn that our local community college had an on-campus planetarium earlier this year. Been making an effort throughout 2025 to get out, find community, and relearn how to be an in-person social person. This event about the Perseids was a big highlight for me.
