I think it could be very helpful. Without a clear “why” a group or a person could simply wander aimlessly, driven by habit or what others are doing.

I sing in several. None are particularly clear about their “why.” I am clear about mine: To help others enjoy the kinds of life-enhancing experiences I have enjoyed throughout my life.
