Preparing for a media histories seminar on social media & things are feeling pretty damn bleak! Been reading Maria Ressa's amazing 'How to Stand Up to a Dictator' & Shoshana Zuboff's 'The Age of Surveillance Capitalism' today - would love some more recs if anyone has any 📱

Yesterday: spent half the day teaching H.D., Ezra Pound, fragmentation and translation, and the other half on seminars on Black Panther. Today: classes on elegies and Milton!

Today: lots of lovely coaching meetings, made a huge lot of butternut squash soup (sadly not pictured), led a wellbeing workshop, emails, a little bit of teaching prep for tomorrow, and saw a rainbow from my train (pictured!) 🌈 how about everyone else?
