No, I don’t think so. He’s smarter, but he doesn’t have the cult appeal. The GOP isn’t afraid of him. Fox isn’t afraid of him. He would likely be a multiple year lame duck.
He also doesn’t agree with Trump’s tariffs, so I would think trade would become somewhat normal again.
