Reminder that that one Super Bowl ad about Jesus leads to a website that directs you to conservative churches. The latest one had a picture of somebody preaching inclusion at a Pride parade, which is a straight-up lie about what the people who produce those ads actually believe.

Today is the memorial service for Professor Mala Htun. She was absolutely brilliant, witty, and kind. She taught me the nuances of gender, democracy, and party politics around the world. Oh, and also just about everything I know about Comparative Politics.
