Could an American please explain to the World why when people are murdered in the streets by a paramilitary group, part of the government, and that same group are beating and maiming citizens daily while the president decides which country to invade next, a huge part of the population think its OK.

America needs to soul search, Trump is not the problem but merely a symptom. The Killing of Renee Good exposes the real problem. A decent woman merely making a three point turn is shot in the head and large parts of American society are fine with it, Trump just benefits from the hate already there

It has been noticeable for some time that BBC coverage of Trump normalises him, no criticism to be seen. This cant be put down to cowardice because he is suing them as it predates it and today there is no hard hitting questions about Venezuela just shit about how the US managed to arrest Maduro.

It is time for the rest of the world to condemn the actions of the Trump regime, no mealy mouthed criticism worded diplomatically to water down its sentiment. There needs to be a full throated condemnation with no room for interpretation. It is now time for America to be side-lined completely.

I just watched the film Nuremburg, sometimes a film captures the zeitgeist of the time, a filmmaker drawing parallels with events in the past, however, in this case I don't believe that, the comparison is purely because the Trump regime is playing the Nazi playbook to the letter. Truly vile people.
