The sad reality is, the overwhelming majority of Americans don't know there's a voter for the Speaker going on, don't care & won't be able to name him after the vote. This is what happens in a country where civics education is no longer universal. Its absence lets darkness settle in over democracy.

Came here to engage in meaningful discourse without the anger and hostility. I agree with you, but not surprised. It’s human nature nowadays.
For a place that everyone swears they came to in order to get away from the hate and anger of Twitter...you all sure do throw a lot of hate and anger at people all day. Just take a second before making assumptions and for God's sake read the articles before attacking the person who simply posted it.
