Hi! Im Val, I am really new to art and I decided to start posting my progress in here as a way to keep me motivated and be able to see my own growth. So here is some of what I did today and a WIP:3

Makima character study! Im not super happy with this one since I only had 45 minutes to complete it and it was really hard because of her folds in clothing but it was fun! (I really need to work on faces)

This was an experiment taking a pose from a photograph and trying to add more dynamism to it. I just made up the elf character. Coloring is still a weak point and it's hard for me to make up clothes, but I can see myself improving. #art #digitalart #elf #figuredrawing #beginnerartist

Day 5! Had a really busy day and spent two hours drawing cats I don’t really like how the cats turnt out much, I will post them here once they are finished but it is my first time drawing without a direct reference instead using multiple references to make something so Im not too mad about it 😎

bought a sketchbook recently to start drawing things from life while i commute or wait for classes and it was really fun!! No more scrolling while waiting 🔥 (these are pretty bad but theyll get better eventually)
