Etymology: The Chinese word for Glide (Huáxíng), the Huáx beginning of the word looks like Hoax and this is a Pokémon looks like a Pokémon that it isn’t, and obviously Gyrados!

I will be honest and say that Meganium's base design leaves a lot to be desired (Shes still my favorite pokemon). As such I took inspiration from the following:
Sauropod Dinosaur Head Crests, Perfume Bottles, French Noblewear, Lavender, Orchids, and Florges for reference on the floral collar.
