Good to see.
Have read articles that mention Iran closing the Straits of Hormuz but no handy map to go with it.
So, naturally, people are looking it up.
Google Trends showing a marked uptick in Hormuz as a search term for the past month. Not much for ages, a few searched in the past week and in the last day a sudden spike.

Franklin is also done - for now - but not all candidates announced. Federal candidate Peter George picked up 20% at the May election, and is running now for the state.

Those with wealth like property prices rising because that increases their wealth, and they love that the capital gains tax discount gives them a 50% tax break when they generate even more wealth. The attempts to change superannuation tax concessions has worried the extremely wealthy that people will realise just how rigged the system is in their favour. And they worry it might finally be the start of attempts to address the growing wealth inequality in this country. It should be.

The other electorates vary enormously.
Canberra in ACT has 102,980 voters, while Longman in Qld has 142,810.
Longman has almost twice the number of electors as Clark.
It's not really aligning with 'one vote one value'.

Overall postal votes across Australia are pretty evenly split, but they won't help Zoe Daniel in this case, they are swinging heavily to Wilson.
23k postal returned so far, and about 20k counted. So 3-4k postal votes left to count. #Auspol

Daniel's first preference vote dropped by 0.55%, Wilson's rose 4.19%.
AEC count for Goldstein shows Tim Wilson leading by 660 votes. 115 votes have been counted already. Very low informal rate of 2.48% which would be one of the lowest in the country, and down 0.95% on 2022. Wilson lifted his first preference vote by 4.19%, defying all trends. Likely to be the only liberal to flip a seat in this election.
