👓 For kids to thrive in school, they need to be able to see clearly.

But many youth in foster care aren't able to access vision care that would connect them to glasses.

Dr. Kristine Fortin tells us about a new project that aims to support these kids with their vision needs. #BackToSchool

By the time they graduate high school, nearly all children in the U.S. have had personal experiences with bullying. 

As students head #BackToSchool, our researchers are focused on ways we can equip educators, parents and students to prevent and address bullying in real time.

The mural is a visual representation of findings from a study on the impacts of adultification of young Black girls led by leaders at We REIGN and PolicyLab researchers with support from a PolicyLab Community Partnerships in Research pilot project.

We were honored to celebrate a new mural in West Philly from our friends at We REIGN that centers Black girlhood, resilience and joy!

We interviewed 40 caregivers about what they liked about WIC and SNAP, what they’d change, and how health systems could help families connect to both programs.
