All "unity" goes out the window when what you do policy-wise is the exact opposite of unifying.

You want unity? Do what your constituents TELL you to do, instead of your rich donors. You're not there to make your own decisions - you're there to represent. The Dems who vote yes should resign.
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

"Sticking their necks out"

To do what? Suck off the Republicans? They should all resign, and anyone not on board with this bullshit should CALL for them to resign.

If you live in a closed-primary state, don’t change your affiliation to independent from Democratic. Simply vote in your primaries, vote in local and lower office elections, and vote for people who will actually be fighters, and those who will depose the old guard.

Any Dems who vote in favor of the CR should be called upon to resign, and those who do not vote in favor should be doing this as well.

The centrist Democrats who vote for this CR are the ones "falling on the sword" for the others. There will be Dems who do not vote for this, but secretly worked in favor of it.

This needs to be part of a broader strategy of eliminating centrist Dems from office.

It's not a coincidence that the same Democrats, many of which are simply retiring, keep bending over backwards and presenting their cheeks to Trump.

They're covering for other Democrats who WILL receive consequences in primary elections, and that needs to be snuffed out.

Every single time I see an article suggesting Trump and (insert country here) are "close to a deal" I really think the author should be fired.

How are you going to report on something that's so obviously false? He has a new "trade deal" with the same country every week.

Is it really a ceasefire if they don’t cease firing?

My favorite political trope: red states have high crime because of blue cities

As if, blue states don’t have blue cities

Seth Appert is a hockey terrorist, he has no idea what he’s doing on the PP. he has no idea what he’s doing with his own PP. I’m surprised he can pee in the morning.

During election season: Dems don't have a clue what ordinary people go through! Inflation, the economy, jobs, they don't care about any of this! Vote for Trump!

After: the Superbowl half-time show will have Spanish 🤬

it's still pretty wild that our government is mostly just pedophiles and varying degrees of sexual predators, and then marco rubio, who just sits on the couch and watches for some reason

There have been studies that link Tylenol - and acetaminophen broadly - to developmental disorders, including autism. These studies are not of good quality and make hasty assumptions about mere correlation. It isn't as quacked as some would suggest - but how Trump approaches it, it very much is.

There’s so much animosity from the right regarding Universities, and they always promote completely fake universities, or entities that just call themselves education resources for some reason… but then, the right never uses these as substitutes for themselves or their kids! They always fail.

I have to think that the redistricting ploy can easily blow back on whomever ultimately is on the negative end of a political swing. It produces some slimmer margins, and if those flip, you’re handing your opponent safe districts, AND the swing districts, AND the districts you wanted to flip.

I think the main issue that is the catalyst of so much political violence is people are seemingly defenseless against believing in nonsensical bullshit thrown over the internet.

America's hottest commodity and export now is how gullible most people are... Believing in the NY Post? Seriously?

Funny how these former-establishment Republicans kowtowed to MAGA, only to end up getting challenged in the primaries anyways.

There’s no negotiating or joining grifters and authoritarians without principles. They will replace anyone that they find an impediment to their goals.

I know people like to say that South Park targets “both sides” but making fun of excessive diversity requirements in TV shows and movies isn’t exactly as scathing as calling the President an authoritarian pedophile with small genitalia
