🇨🇦 I am a city that is ok with crooked poles and dangling wires above your heads. Looking to improve public realm, add big trees and get bike lanes right 🇳🇱
If only we built things for cars.

Cars. Of course it’s cars. We give car drivers so much of our public domain and it’s never enough. In the “war on cars” there’s only ever been one winner.

Important for cars to have the best view of the water.

Perhaps, unbeknownst to us, they are actually installing a particle super collider under Eglinton. Although, I think they can build those faster.

You’d think this was the first LRT ever build. How is it possible that it still doesn’t have an opening date. I thought conservatives ran things like a business. What is going on here?

University is particularly painful. Right in the core. The best lanes. Busy. Help emergency vehicles. So many lanes still for cars.

Better than nothing, but not by much. Clearly this space s primarily for cars to move through. Even these types of spaces could be softened with trees.

Toronto, how many bike lanes would you feel comfortable allowing children like this to cycle? This is a good objective to aim for.

Just too bad we have hydro poles. Prefer these were mature trees (but without the staples).
