❗Another visualization of Hurricane #Otis. This might be the hurricane for the history books. There was never a major hurricane (cat. 3+) near #Acapulco. This is a brutal way to go through the first one. #wx

The timing couldn't be much worse for #F1. #MexicoCity hosts #MexicoGP. It's 300km away from the eye of the hurricane right now. The impact won't be as big as #Acapulco, but certainly bad news for the F1 paddock.

❗Hurricane #Otis strengthened from a tropical storm to a category 5 in just a few hours. This is a shock. None of the models predicted this. Even worse, the hurricane made landfall in #Acapulco, #Mexico. The damage is likely to be catastrophic. #wx
