Doing a WASM deep dive recently helped me understand how much modern computers rely on asynchronous operations. It made me wonder how much of today’s software performance issues stem from the complexity of managing asynchronous flows.

Nobody cares, but with "AI" I guess I've found myself in a "trying hard to find a real world use for hyped technology X" phase again like with blockchain etc. Sure it's a great search engine, but beyond that and a very select couple of other niche use cases, it's not that great.
