My greatest fear is that republicans will lose in 2026, and again in 2028, and even with Democrats in power, nothing that needs to change, will be changed.

(don't get me wrong: I am VERY optimistic about the growth of renewables. I just don't think that's enough with ice caps and glaciers melting, and permafrost releasing methane; and possibly the loss of oceanic carbon sinks.)
