Another fruitful moment. I've managed to get my destructible obstacles PoC working with the particles.

-The blue and red lines are debug aids.
-Particles working
-Drawing Obstacles working

Next step will be the obstacle placement and size algorithm

Busy weekend but still progressed a little more.
Worked on converting the particle system.

-Had (and having) a couple of issues adapting one I'd already had as seen in video! 😅
-The particles are rounded to the nearest scaled pixel.
-I need to fix gravity and logic...

So managed to fix the refresh problem but...
- The vector indicator is not exactly how Spout renders it
- The buffer clear is overkill. I'd ideally clear around the ship.
- The indicator does not directly interact with the game logic itself so could be better rendered directly by Godot

Today's tiny progress. It's not much but I now understand how the C source code renders the fonts and also could remove some of the code into a node and use Godot's Timer for instance. I'm also using signals for timeout and game over

So fixed a little more - You can now see the "ship" and rotate the jet.
The font rendering is working.
I ended up creating a "Pointer" class to help translate it, storing the address and type size and exposing inc and dec functions.
It's still broken, but progress is progress!
