Hmm... According to the FNF wiki, Girlfriend's species is listed as... demon. But to me, she doesn't feel like a full-on demon. She mostly seems like a normal girl who occasionally taps into her demon side, kind of like a human/demon hybrid, similar to Inuyasha.

Heroes, especially Boyfriend and Girlfriend from FNF, don't have plot armor, they have agency. Villains with plot armor have none of that. This is the reason why the "Plot Armor" rule in the FNF modding is outright biased.
