If I were to guess, doubling resources could potentially only delay it from happening again, as resources may go only to some and not all (think like the current wealth gaps, or the fact that we make enough food to feed everyone, yet world hunger still exists)

Mods are currently discussing this AFAIK. It's like 50/50 if the runs will be removed or not. It's also possible things will be handled differently between UT and DR

I feel like the idea of "make half life 3" is big enough that tons of people want it to happen, even if like 85% of us havent actually played half life

Every game starts as "one of the bad ones" and joins the "good ones" once the kids who grew up with them become high schoolers and young adults. Few years back it was gen 5, now it's the 3ds games, give it 4 years and it will be sword and shield

The games used to be harder, but not because trainers had better teams or AI, but because over the years they have added so many quality of life improvements like reusable tms, exp share, etc. that makes it easier
