What if? Long ago, I requested through RTI, and reported on, Premier Frank McKenna's speaking notes in the event of a Yes vote in the Quebec referendum, which was 30 years ago today. I dug them out recently to show younger colleagues.

Christian conservative activist and broadcaster Faytene Grasseschi, the defeated PC candidate in Hampton-Fundy-St. Martins last fall, says she has sold her Quispamsis home and moved to Alberta. "We are so excited to turn the page," says Grasseschi, who plans to write a book about her time in N.B.

A little gem of a book that I discovered only recently. Dishy, but with lots of Crown-executive nerdery. Authored by everyone’s favourite press baron, who was in the room where a lot of it happened.
