I so look forward to this update. Kind of surprised to not hear Venezuela mentioned at least once though. Or maybe he did? I couldn’t pay full attention to it the entire time, hurt my brain too much.

Doh, my daughter missed this. Gonna have to show her the video later. Past few Thanksgivings we’ve put on YouTube livestreams of the parade to avoid all of the commercial crap that gets thrown in there. Highly recommended, but you miss the performances designed for TV.

I may attempt growing some in my backyard next year, but I’ll be ecstatic if I end up with any over 10 pounds.

Don’t forget to include immigration policy in this. Public research universities (like the one I work at) make significantly more in tuition from international students. Definitely have less of those students here this semester.

If the air traffic controller situation continues to spiral out of control as quickly as I think it will, I don't expect the shutdown to last more than another 2 weeks.

Often times the source data it references is outdated or just outright made up, making me waste time chasing down a solution that is no longer relevant or never existed at all. I expect this bubble to burst sooner than later.

Copilot has been a useful timesaver for me. But that’s all it is, a timesaver, but only when doing very specific tasks for my job. Writing some framework code for me with very specific parameters? It amazes. Asking it to help me troubleshoot something? It’s hit or miss.
