🧵 So, how does one go about prototyping in Xcode and quickly integrate with their backend?

Here is a thread on how I created an abstraction layer that allows me to switch between mock data and the real backend easily.

I just had a great experience prototyping the UI in Xcode first, while mocking the backend with in-memory objects, and then implementing the data layer and servers. It requires having a good abstraction layer for the data layer, but it was significantly faster than going with server + database first
