(Only just saw this, sorry!) Thanks for the explanation! I can understand that train of thought. One thing I had liked was that the Shadow didn't always appear to be evil (Shadow Hunters, some Shadow Priests) which was super appealing, while the Void tends to be... pretty evil 😝

I feel super vindicated to see Shadow associated with "Death" in the early draft - I had always felt that connection made more sense than with Void (Shadowlands, Cult of the Forgotten Shadow as undead/forsaken religion, WC3 Necromancer quotes) - what was the reason to put Shadow with Void?
