I really enjoyed the interview. But bro, why do you say "Warner Bros" and not "Warner Brothers"? Is it related to "Mario Bros."?

I'm shocked & dismayed at how quickly everyone is falling into line. Universities are furiously scrubbing their websites of offending language to protect funding. Corporations are doing what you'd cynically expect (with a few exceptions like Costco ❤️). But HHMI? Why? "The best lack all conviction"

In light of recent developments (The "Fork in the Road" buyout letter, ouster of David Lebryk at Treasury, now access to the federal payments system), have you updated your assessment of Musk and DOGE?

It's also worth noting that there are (at least?) two types of radiology: diagnostic and interventionist. My understanding is that AI is much worse at the latter.

But had Lewis denied that Bezos wanted to stop endorsing presidential candidates? (Whether or not Bezos read a draft endorsement is a separate question.)

Where did he say that? I don't doubt it, just looking for a reference. Thanks

First we had broadcast TV. It was free, but you had to watch ads. Then we had premium cable: you had to pay, but it was ad-free. And somehow we wound up with the worst of both worlds (or the best of both worlds, if you're a media corporation): we pay to watch advertising 😞

Twitter had roughly 400 million users when Elon acquired it, roughly 20x current Bluesky. But it had over 7000 employees (> 350x current Bluesky). Musk is a loathsome right-wing edge lord troll, but could he have been right that Twitter had too many employees?
