Importance of fresh air! We don't have anymore beautiful old wood burning ovens / stoves, but we still need fresh air where we sleep! Plus the windows have been replaced two decades ago, so they are "new" and tight & don't let any excess air through.

Taking down two layers from ceiling and counting old wallpapers. Maybe ten of them and undermost is clay plastering on the log wall.
