How sick is this??? Walmart employees use SNAP to feed their families. I heard on the local classic rock station abt a "Turkey dropoff" (WKRP, anyone?). Details? Donate a turkey @ Walmart for SNAP users. Goal is 500. Something sick. This is PART of the food pantry for hungry in Ovid last night.

A couple really good signs (plus mine) at Saturday 11/1 "Disappeared in America" event at the Seneca Falls NY Women's History Center. Most of us now make two-sided signs. I'm behind a paper scroll, frog hat with eyes poking above the paper.

I called Schumer AGAIN just now. Got voicemail in Binghamton office this time. Stayed calm for a change. Said to vote No on Cloture and No on the Continuing Resolution. I read his NYT opinion yesterday and disagree. THEN I asked if he wanted to be remembered as the 2nd Neville Chamberlain?

So, yesterday T said Schumer wasn't a Jew. In fact, he said Schumer is a Palestinian. A proud member of Hamas. Thus slurring both Jews, and the people of Palestine, and by extension anyone whose origin was the Middle East. And, assuming Schumer DOES vote yes, TODAY, T says:

Just me, no politics for a minute--Our market (most of business district) burned down this week. I went to an Amish market, got some frozen chicken thighs, combining with leftover chicken broth, leftover bok choy, garlic oil, scallions, frozen corn, okra, and spices. Noodles to follow. Stew.

Maybe you'll appreciate this--my not-quite-3-year-old grandbaby is laser-focused on astronomy. He wants to be an "astronomer and go to the moon." He knows the name of every planet (in order, from the sun), most of the moons, and the dwarf planets, too--& identified the green blobs as "continents."

So, who's the vulgar one? PS as a teacher in Florida, we had a "morals" code, basically, don't go to happy hour in your school uniforms; don't have sex with a student, stuff like that. At least there's SOME logic there--but for a professional to be censored in a private post on private media? WRONG
