being able to view and stop viewing a gts image has some layers of consent built into the experience. whether someone considers that full consent or not might be subjective though.

i remember some of my earliest gts thoughts were "chosing" to be tiny, not being born tiny.
to some extent, i don't think many of us have ever seen gts content that doesn't have some aspect of meta consent involving viewers.

it sounds like williams & sprott might be too old of an example though (discussing older views of kinks as pathologies), will read up on newer ones.

i think that's accurate. this is really speculative, but regarding #1 i've wondered if a lot of the forms it takes are because it has no natural or known way to flow, so it gets deposited into areas that already exist.

(supposedly barker & easton have written bits about it, like "top/bottom" or "dom/sub" not capturing complexity, or williams & sprott noticing that many kinks exist outside of "pathological models.")

imo wording in macrophilia seems really lacking, and leans too heavily on bdsm/femdom terms that sometimes only vaguely relate, which might force specific framing. i've heard some sexologists wonder if bdsm language may hide nuance as well (though not enough research there, either).

i think that's a good observation, but i'm not sure if i'd still call it dominance. at the very least a form of something. i've heard suggestions focusing on words that lean more experiential (like the haunted house metaphor).

in a lot of gts content, it feels more exploratory, like a saccharine survival horror. the gts is more like a cute haunted house than a traditional femdom dictator.

i think an argument he missed is also that the guy's older wacky work might be because you'd have to be wacky to record an event like that. people had similar criticisms of bob lazar, that he was "too weird," but it might take a weird person to disclose those things.

i think alien interview's is interesting because it maps heavily onto a lot of paraphilias. if bodies are just suits worn by consciousness, and can be genetically produced, it's easy to imagine macrophilia, or even furries, being a latent memory of that.

I've heard doodling aimlessly can be therapeutic, it makes you wonder if 'flow states' might have some connection like that. People also recommend TM, where you repeat phrases to keep your mind busy during meditation, i wonder if flow causes a similar effect.

i think you learn a lot about the difference between you and your thoughts during it, and afterwards it's more noticeable when good ideas pop into your head, like washing up on shore suddenly.

i've noticed it's beneficial to let impulses pass during it. for example, you'll have distracting thoughts during it, but don't engage with them and let them pass. you'll get antsy, but just focus on breathing and let it pass. impatience can be another impulse to let pass.

i'm a guy, so more the latter, envisioning an alternate dimension microphile that's both entertaining and feels "real," and explores some ideas about violent gts and romance.

i think in the early days of macrophilia, there was a sense that we were uncovering our fetish, rather than just creating lewds. i heard other artists say they wanted to reach others, like uncontacted tribes. but in the future, new things might have to give our work meaning.

also, if ai satisfies everyone's desire for a quick hit, i think material will need to have a more specific purpose, like alice's work bridging together "normies," or raps' skits. macrophilia having a sense of identity, like furries already have.
