One night, many years ago, a few of us went to a fancy dress party as a stone circle. As a stone each. Had great fun going through town, stopping to form circles for a few minutes at numerous points on the way. Puzzled a lot of people.! 😆

Japanese dark soy sauce - not quite as rich/dark as others and crispy chilli oil are my go-tos. In the UK that's Laoganma, Lee Kum Kee or Itsu (order best - worst value) all stocked in large Sainsbury's or specialist stores. Shin Red noodles are the most common of the quality Ramen. Black is rarer

A former colleague once worked for one of the firms involved in the demolition. Apparently they and their clients had a big party to celebrate getting-in before the listing, on-site as it came down. They stood to make a lot more money from the cleared site because of it. 🤨

The news that one of my oldest friends mother is aware and has had a substantial blood transfusion in hospital today.

Which means she's stronger and fighting. A few days ago, we were resigned to her slipping away by this weekend

It was like that with my old, rescued Whiskers. Took several years before she moved from being comfortable just nearby to coming on to my knee and for nightly cuddles, which because very important in her last years. 😃
