As a solo Dev both faces are happy. It's a lot easier to design when you know the technical limitations.

Sad that I have to add... I'm not looking for someone to use AI to produce the art. I could do that myself but I'm looking to keep people employed.

Honestly, having looked for 2 months now an been let down a couple of times, it's really hard not to just let AI do the work.

Yep, everyone "can do the style you are looking for" and wants money up front. That's why now I'm looking for references and game dev experience.
