Just tasted my first homemade kombucha and will definitely make more! Not too sweet, slightly sour, and great over ice with a sprig of mint.

I'm crocheting a scarf and being soothed by the rain and occasional peal of thunder. At the same time, I have BBC sounds on and am listening to ghost stories.

Someone said I should sell my stuff at craft fairs.
At the moment, I make things for fun and to relax. For example, these garlands are just because I can.

This project was started more than two years ago, but life got in the way. I feel like I'm over the hardest of my grief and that I've turned a corner to recovery. I'll never be 100% over the loss, but the days are mostly good now. Go give your loved ones a hug ❤️

I have been sort of housebound after hurting my back, with only the occasional short dog walk for a few days. Doing nothing doesn't sit well with me, and I had sudden grand ideas of a bird garland. I'm so chuffed with the finished thing.

I am not good at sewing by any stretch of the imagination. What I tend to make on the sewing machine are personal things special to me, things with meaning.
